07:05 PMI photographed Courtney and Victor’s wedding at The Kapok. It was decorated for the holidays, so that added an extra dimension. Everything was meticulously set up, from the cake to the spot lights with their initials on the dance floor. I wanted the first dance to be the signiture image for the event, so I had an assistant up in the balcony shooting while I tried to take closer images with the spot light outlining them (we call this ‘rim lighting’).Courtney and Victor loved their photos and we are excited to start designing their storybook. They went skiing on their honeymoon and Victor hurt his knee quite badly. Of all the times to have that happen, the honeymoon has to be the worst time I can think of.
